4 Days to Go!

All the gear is figured out, and packed and an assembled bike photo will come later in the week when I assemble everything on the bike prior to my Friday morning departure. Right now I’m just covering some final details, like ensuring my drone is properly set up, the rest of the technology works (Like Tumblr!) and reviewing the trip details.

There are active, but under control fires close to my route up Highway 389 from Baie-Comeau (Those blue dots) and at least one of my stays at Station Uapishka near the Manicouagan Reservoir cancelled my reservation. On further conversation, what happened was the Chef was not going to be there because of the fires and they happily gave me a room with a kitchenette so I could make my own food. Since I will be camping at least 5 days of the 18 that was already expected.

I did wake up with a dreadful sore throat and am hoping I can shake it off before I leave.
